That Pat Robertson, he always has something wacky to say! Now he's gone and pissed off a whole country, instead of just an unpopular minority.
The Bank of Scotland announced Thursday that it would cut its financial ties with the nutty American televangelist after Robertson told his huge cable television audience of trailer park denizens and social malcontents that Scotland was overrun with homosexuals. "In Scotland, you can't believe how strong the homosexuals are," Robertson said on his 700 Club show.
Bank of Scotland executives reviewed tapes of the broadcast in question and decided to call off a planned effort to launch a financial banking operation in the United States with Robertson Financial Services.
