California Glory Hole attracts huge crowds

A glory hole at Napa's Lake Berryessa is drawing huge crowds. According to Chris Lee, the general manager for the Solano County Water Agency, the glory hole hasn't been active since 2019, and only restarted operations on Feb 4.
"It's definitely worth seeing," Lee said. "I've been lucky enough to see it a few times. ... It's just not that common."
"People were taking pictures and videos and just standing in awe," said Peter Kilkus, the editor of the Lake Berryessa News.
Officials urge spectators not get too close to the Glory Hole. A woman died in 1997 after being sucked in.
“We’re hoping that people use their best judgment,” Lee said.
