I read this book once called "The Baghdad Blogger"... I thought it was gonna be some Jack the Ripper thing... turned out to be some guy who liked Portishead. The sort of guy you'd go for a pint with, but would prefer not to read a bloody book about. -- Zippy
Interview with Solex
-- Reported 1999-03-22 21:21 by Mr. Bad
Around here, Solex is also a brand of paper cups.
Uh, he's this famous computer guy. His thing is that he thinks everyone should give away software for free.
Richard Stallman is a bad computer hippy.
We did an interview with him, and he yelled at Zach for asking questions too fast.
There's a lot of them walking around there I noticed..
I will too in a minute
So, OK, another question from me.
Uh, you did almost all the musicianship on Hitmeister, right?
What kind of equipment do you have? What did you use?
Most of it is sampled. Only some drums are live played
And the vocals.
I had a Yamaha tape 8 track, an old sampler, a Korg keyboard, a drumkit, and some amps and stuff
and the cd's of course
Wow. Hey, so, all the lyrics on hitmeister are in Engels. Are you real comfortable with it?
Sorry, I got a laptop, and big fat fingers
Dutch is a bad language to sing in ggghhheeddhhgghghgggfg...you get the picture
Yeah, it's kinda gross. You'd spit a lot.
