ManHunt and ManTrap

Scary Technology

I think there's more to it than meets the eye. Marimba is part of an organized plot of some kind.
-- Ratsnatcher

"When an attack is identified, ManHunt images/begins automatically determining the source of the attack and shares attack information securely with other networks involved in the attack, such as an upstream network service provider, to track the source of the attack across a distributed network. ManHunt can also automatically divert the attack to a decoy environment, such as ManTrap for forensic data gathering." -- Marketing blurb from Recourse Technologies web site

It's getting tough to be a script kiddie. Tools are coming out which automatically track a script kiddie back to their place of origin and tack them to a wall. Cataloged, typed, and identified, ready to be processed through the nation's legal system.

Hackers, of course, will find new ways around such technologies.

In the meantime, let your paranoia level rise to new heights.

Over. End of Story. Go home now.
