Police hit a moonshine jackpot behind Douglas Bethune's

2810) last October -- finding and destroying 6,400 gallons
of white lightnin' with a street value of $16,000.
Is it just me, or does this quote simply reaffirm your stereotypes of the Deep
South?
Though the cost of moonshine is not that much cheaper than legitimate booze,
drinking "white lightnin' " is part of Southern culture that has refused to die
despite increased public awareness about its dangers
