Musk claims Xitter security is staffed by idiots

Earlier this month Xitter experienced a massive outage. In an interview, Musk told Fox Business that he believes the attack came from "IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area."
Defending against a denial of service attack from known IP addresses is a trivial exercise. The fact that Musk and Xitter staff knew the IP addresses and still couldn't defend against the attack, leaving Xitter down for most of the day, is the same as saying that Xitter security is staffed by idiots.
Either that, or Musk was just lying.
A well-known source opined that “Other potential culprits include anyone who thinks Elon is an asshole, so it could be pretty much anyone.”
